Dr. Iqbal Malik has been the inspiration and major patron behind the establishment of MH Vatavaran and our motivation as an environmentalist.

 

Dr. Bani Roy, an alumna of Miranda House, Recipient of Distinguished Teacher Award, University of Delhi in 2009 , Australian Leadership Award Fellow in 2013, has also been one of the foundational members of MH Vatavaran.

 

Dr. Amrita Tripathi Sheikh,  superannuated in 2022 after having taught at the Department of Chemistry, Miranda House for over 30 years! Besides teaching quantum chemistry, Dr Sheikh had been a key founding member of MH Vataran and worked with utmost passion and dedication towards the establishment of the various green initiative of the college.
